Only thing holding him back is we are looking for a new piece of land in Texas. Already have a house there, in Corpus, but we want to move out into Hill Country. So he's like one thing at a time.

Grew up going to Joe Cottons BBQ, Robstown, Tx. Even U.S. Presidents frequented the joint. Great great memories. Then tragedy struck, fire, burnt to the ground, and the owner Cecil was gett'n up there in years. So that was the end of a historic establishment.

Look'n around Canyon Lake area, but still nothing set in stone. Realitor sent us photos of a nice 12 acre lot. My sister will check it out for us, depending on her opinion will determine if I fly down or not, will have to check it out myself.

Holding us back is our beloved dog. He's an Ol Timer now, and he's Priority One! We want his end days to be nothing but the Best. He's only known this property and it's his whole world. He's too old to move so we are here till the end. Not sure he'll make it thru the winter. I will be Devastated to say the least. And he sure does love the cold weather! Never be able to take that horrific Texas Heat.

He's still happy go lucky! Loves Life! Can barely hear anymore, eyesight not the best, and sometimes has a tougher time running like the old days. Sleeps a lot nowadays.

Boy, just re-read what I wrote, for a minute there I thought I was talking about my husband, the other Old Dog. LOL. They really are so much alike! Hahahahehehe, sorry, sometimes I crack myself up!
