Correct. Appearance package includes alloy wheels, fender flares, and auto dimming rear view mirror with compass. Don't remember the cost of the appearance package, but if you add towing and V6, the price goes up close to $4K additionally.

I had no need for fender flares or auto dimming mirror. (I never drive at night)

No the SR5 does not come with navigation .... BUT .... i know several guys that have the navigation on their TRD OR and still are using a Garmin cause they say the factory navigation sucks

I got an SR5 because it was just over 31k (DCSB 4x4 V6) and the only thing I wanted in addition was leather, which would have put me getting a limited, and I didn't like nor want to spend the money on.

In my opinion the only REAL benefit for the OR is the locker (and in my case the suspension and tires because I've had no problems with them thus far, even off road). The touch screen is nice, but the navigation is ok at best. I still prefer to use my phone for a lot of situations. I don't have the premium tech package.

If you go with a 4x4 SR5, I don't think you'll be missing out on much or regretting anything (that you wouldn't regret by going with any other trim). You will know down the line if you need a locker and at that point you will be so deep into offroading that you'll want new suspension, tires, sliders, an air locker, etc. and you can build the SR5 any way you want.

I went with the OR because that was the one I found that had a manual transmission and I'm not a fan of the hood scoop. Plus the sport and OR were the same price so I figured might as well get the locker.

I simply didnt like the lack of touch screen or the wheel choices. I also wanted to try smart key out for a lease to see if I could live with it.

how many folks didn't consider the SR5 simply because of dual zone climate control? Seems pretty minor, but having had it in my old Outback, it's one of the few creature comforts i really, really want. i'd give up a lot in trade for that...

One thing I noticed around here was if you wanted an Access Cab you were much more likely to find it in an SR5 than anything else. All of the sports and off roads were DCSB.

Sorry the size of touch screen, it shares the same size as the 4runner, and you cant swap them easily. Normally I buy base vehicles and swap in head units.

Now that I think about it I really want dual zone climate. Unless its 100 degrees outside my wife HAS to crank up the heat or gets cold from the AC. I can't deal with it.

I personally dislike dual zone climate control and was happy this truck didn't have it unlike my last 2 vehicles.
