Yeah my brother in law usually does all my paint and body work, since he owns his own shop, but due to time constraints and he's full schedule he wasn't able to do the work this time. When it comes back the rear panels will probably be installed by Miller Off Road while he has the bed off to do the bed cage mock up. Then once he is done with the bed and rear bypass install it will go to my brother in law for painting of both front and rear panels. I didn't like how thin the body shop painted my front fenders. While it's at his shop I'll tell him to make my fenders like my wife's. She has Rhino liner on hers

BOOM!!!! now that is a build thread! Start and finish (kinda)

There is only one thing I can think of this ENIGMA build thread needs:

Video of the truck haulin ballz and catching some air! :mudding:

The one post build was a treat (as others said).........like a quick (game of thrones) season series catch-up on a rainy Saturday :muscleflexing:

    siiiiiiiiick truck!-------enjoy

No "Enigma" here! just full bore Mod Max  (instead of Mad Max)

Awesome truck. I'm often in Houston (use to live there, and will probably live there again in the near future) so I hope to see you around to check it out.

What are your ultimate plans for this truck, in terms of mudding, crawling etc.?

    Great build.

For what it's worth, there are a few members here who claim to have tuned 3rd generation cars, one of whom has even posted a before/after dyno. See here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/is-there-a-low-end-mod-for-3-5.454489/page-4#post-13384762

At least one company claims to offer tuning software for the 3rd gen ECU, although I haven't personally verified their claims: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bitbox-ecu-reflash-software-for-3-5l-2gr-fks.447034/

Keep in mind that a proper forced induction setup on the OEM ECU will still require additional development beyond basic map tuning. Once you run enough boost, you'll need to move to larger injectors to get enough fuel, which requires substantial software changes to work properly. A proper aftermarket ECU might be a better idea anyway if you're going this far.
