    Hello TW!

I have been lurking for quite a while. I was in the market for a new Taco since the 4th of July, but had to order one as I was DEAD set on getting a manual. Speed up to Sept. 26th and I got my beloved 2017 Super White TRD-OR DCSB with the 6-Speed and Premium/Tech pkg. I love the truck. I am coming from a 2011 WRX Hatch which had some bolt-ons plus a tune. The speed is different, but I love the truck and its already been super handy. Once upon a time I had a 1995 Ranger Splash that I loved and missed. The Taco is way more refined than the Ranger and the WRX. I drive a lot for work and have already put over 1,300 miles on the truck. Getting 20 MPG at a mix of city and 70 mph highway driving. I live in Geuaga County Ohio close to some Amish communities and when I'm out there where the posted limit is 50 mph I get 23/24 MPG.

Future mods: Custom Car Mesh Grill (I don't care for my chrome TRD grill), HID/LED lighting, better tires (when stock ones are toast), and maybe a minor lift.

Out with the old and in with the new!

    Labrador approved!

I look forward to talking to you guys/gals and growing in this community.

Welcome to the show. What's up with the bow tie looking collar? Shock collar? GoPro mount?

Its a training collar. It shocks if need be, but its seldom needed. Piper is 10 months old and she is really progressing.

Nice! Granted I never had to use one for my lab - but she's a mini lab about 4 years old now and Piper is already bigger than Butter lol.

And holy shit there must be some truth to the whole subie to Tacoma thing. We were just talking about that this past weekend.

Thanks Dereck. The collar is mostly to keep her in the yard. Its very freeing for her and for us. As for the Subie connection, the salesman had a WRX too. He said many Tacoma buyers are coming from WRX's or BRZ's. He gave me a steal of a deal on my 180,000 mile WRX because he knew what they were.

Well you won't be disappointed, especially in the modding department. Just brace your wallet when scouring through here...it's a money pit.

Yeah it's funny cause there's various threads here of subie guys switching over or vice versa.
