i like being able to pick when I do overtime for the most part. Some weeks I'll work 4 16 hour days when I have nothing going on at home.

Nothing's better than swaps. We do 4 days on 2 days off. For awhile I had an arrangement with a dayshift guy where we would work two doubles and have four days off it was awesome. But now our shifts have changed and can't get anyone to do it with me anymore.

I'm salary but I make my own schedule and I can promise you this... there aren't many weeks where I work more than 40 hours.

I am salary for 40 hours. By default I work 45 hours a week (7:30a-5pm, half hour lunch). Every other Saturday we work from 8am to noon. So if you average that out, I'm at 47 hours a week.

Now, let's add in the fact that I usually don't get to leave until 5:30 or 6... I don't get paid for over a day's worth of extra work. :angrygirl:

BS thread build thoughts.....need to put em somewhere.

    Done:
    • Tint
    To do:
    • Tonneau cover. Trying to decide on ~$800 hard trifold or ~$250 soft trifold.
    • Remote starter. Factory or aftermarket? Keyfob gizmos still work with aftermarket?
    • LED light bar. Dunno how much to spend yet. Something with smoked/black housing or lenses to best hide in Pro grill.
    • 17" TRD Pro wheels in matte black. Truck needs bigger.
    • BFG AT KO2. Had em on the last truck.
That should get me to a happy place.

I had a soft tri fold and loved it but then bought a cap for more room. Did stick my light bar in the grill. Currently shopping for tires.

Kinda hard to tell, but it looks like the metal ring clip broke, not the boot ripping.

Ah, Nick I think your right. I thought the boot had ripped, but it looks like the clamp is missing. Still think its a great excuse for a trail spare, we all know how much Jason loves hammerin through mud :p

That the driver side or am I having a brain fart?

Do the ECGS bushing while you've got it apart.

Yea its making a clunking sound when turning lock to lock when stop then moving. So I'm thinking its shot, I didn't notice it and it probably happened almost 10 days ago. Just going to order a new half shalf and pull this one out. These things aren't rebuild-able I assume other than repairing the boot?

I was going to do the ECGS upgrade while I'm in there but it won't arrive in time and I need this truck on the road and running.
