Im a bit interested in this. Its definitely on my list but money has neen going quick lately....I have a second battery on the passenger side. Im wondering if it will get in the way? Does it connect at the stock location of the intake then through the fender or a bit closer to the cab wear my battery is at? Another question is there any major differences in the ARB snorkel?
    Thank you.

All kinds of things can and do happen. Ship takes longer to get here due to weather, containers fall off ship and end up in the ocean, container gets held up in customs, etc.

Just because no one seems to have read the original group buy, and the same questions seem to get asked, here's a little FYI:

Original group buy purchase date was around 5/1/2016. Arrival at Max's door was 7/7/2016. Do the math on how long it may take. If you didn't read through the first group buy, that's on you. It was run almost the exact same, with the exception of less hiccups.

Im giving you a hard time/joking. I dont know why its taking so long.

I thought the original price was $500+shipping ? the GB is $335 shipped. But with a few months of wait time

    EDIT* http://ok4wd.com/airflow-snorkel-for-2005-toyota-tacoma

Still saved $35. Im not in any huge rush, so waiting was ok for me

Didn't know that the standard rule of thumb was to read other previous group buys, before participating in a current GB. Maybe the mods should add that as a requirement.
Plus, it was the OP that stated Oct 1st as the worst case scenario. Not the GB participants.

It's not. It's just common sense. If one group buy for the exact same thing is run by the exact same person, well the exact same results could be expected. I read up on it, I did my homework, I've seen how much time max puts into trying to get this thing going and to our doors to save us some coin. That's why I'm not sweating it.

I'm not sweating it all. My kid's college funds aren't affected by this in any way.

The first GB didn't state length of time from start of BG to delivery. Maybe there should have been better disclosure of delivery timing in both GB's? I did a rough check of the 110 pages of the original post, and the arrival date is buried somewhere in those 110 pages. So your recommendation for any future GB, is to look at entire pages of threads to research it?

Again, Max stated clearly, that worst case scenario is Oct 1st. That date is behind us.

If he stated a date further up the calendar, then it's a non-issue. In fact, I would have/ could have made a different choice in how and especially when I spend my hard earned cash.

Jump in this group buy. You won't regret it. Just look at the past group guy. Everyone was happy :)
