First time in probably 5 years that I won't be there.

Well we had a good time last night, and I got to get up close and personal with the Ford raptor. I still don't get the high price tag though, it's a really cool looking truck but not for the money. The UCA's are still have ball joints and it has really wide tires (315/70/17), some slick graphics, fox racing shocks on all four, a skid plate (similar to the TRD skid plate) and a big ass grill. I just don't think I could ever justify spending $40K+ on a truck like that.

We also saw a 1976 Toyota land cruiser extra cab with a bed in the back. It had to have been one of the coolest looking things I've seen. Very unique and yet classic, painted a cool shade of sky blue.

Sorry I don't have pictures, but it was night and anything I took would have come out looking like crap.

 

We are planning a trip down for it next year.

 

That would be really cool, I would love to meet all you guys in person and maybe hang out. We actually did get into see the auction and I have to say it was just like TV only you could see as well LOL.

 

I watch every year and we have been trying to get back to Arizona so it seems like a good long weekend trip. I love a good car show.

 

Cool, it would be great to have you guys come out here. It seems like the show gets bigger and bigger every year.
