Yeah, I started the bacon infused bourbon kinda late, and it has to sit for 6-8 hours. 330am is about 6 hours.

That was a lot of bacon I had to fry...about 2 lbs...but at least it smells good!

 

Damn! And I say "damn" for 2 reasons.

1. She is hot.
2. That is a big ass picture.

It's kind of a shitty picture (camera phone) but this is how the bacon infused bourbon looks after 4 hours. The white at the top is pure bacon fat, the golden middle is Jim Beam, and the dark bottom is little bits of burned bacon that separated in the cooking process.

 

so.....you skim off the fat, then drink it??? looks pretty damn good man!! how does it taste???

by the way....me and the father in law have plans to build a homemade still for moonshine........and you basically use a bunch of copper fittings and a big ol' pressure cooker........i think we are gonna try it sometime!! we love some moonshine!!!
