So ive been looking around for a second vehicle that i can just offroad and beat the shit out of... been thinking about buying one of those auctioned m998 HMMWV's lol. They run about $5k

 

We had a 5 speed double cab hilux the entire time we were in Thailand. Right side steering combined with shifting with my left and driving opposite side of the road had me all fucked the first few days.

 

I was wondering how long that woudl take to adapt to. At some point I'll be headed back to England with the family. I have a desire to rent something sporty to go barreling along the hedgerows and over the heaths with. Or, perhaps through the hedgerows.

 

Anybody looking for one for their RTT?lol

 

yeah, I can't find the 'air brake' option on my taco... nor the 'pintle hitch'. my kid has one of those, he tows it behind a M925A1 5 ton 6x6

Mod it i almost had a free one that my dad fixed up but he gave it to my uncle for a 6 pack... lol

 

Actually for me the hardest part was navigating through big intersections in Bangkok. Having to think about driving on the wrong side shifting with the wrong hand all while trying to figure out which lane is yours and being surrounded by 30 scooters.

 

Needs truck nuts for sure.

 

Driving in Australia, right hand drive, left side of the road, and making a right hand turn from the left lane totally blew my mind

 

Was actually thinking about going this route first. But figured a bed rack should do for now. Might go the trailer route later down the road.

Love those land yachts. But I can't think of any trails I've driven, outside of Death Valley, where those would fit. I guess if you like to go slow in the desert...
