Gave up a truck with a v8 Trans for one made for a 4 cylinder. In all seriousness I hope you get taken care of.

I don't get why someone would choose to live in an area like this. I'm assuming southern California? Is the equivalent of buying a $200k Tacoma imo. It's so OP it's ridiculous. For what it costs to get 4 walls that barely stand over there can get you a 8,000sqft+ mantion over here.

    Supply and demand.

That's what happens when you have a large population to begin with plus more and more "Actors" flood in every year chasing their dream. Everyone wants to live here without making a real living. It sucks for those of us trying to make a real living with real jobs.

Same exact problem here at 3800kms. They tried the sensor and no go. didn't even get it back until they replaced the valve cover. no problems since. Little bit of sweat from the oil the used to lube the gasket they say. but I've since cleaned that up and its bone dry 1200kms later.

    Best of luck!

All the work is I the city though for many different fields. Almost all of the construction work is in the city, all government jobs, all the better schools, malls, businesses all in the city. Toyota Canada head office is h here in the city. Most insurance and investment companies all in the city.

I would bet there are trolls on this forum; with their main purpose to defame, and downplay, people that uncover Toyota's little mishaps... like failed transmission engineering.

I believe this might be true, especially the ones who contribute absolutely nothing but complaints. But there are also a few miserable souls who have had bad experiences and seem to use this forum as their therapy. I'm not talking about the ones who have problems and ask about them looking for solutions, but the ones who won't let go. Like a girl who was cheated on by her boyfriend. Everyone around her is sympathetic and they expect her to be bitter for a while, but sooner or later to get on with her life. Instead she stays with him and devotes her entire life to telling everyone she meets every day over and over how much of a jerk he is and how she wishes she could leave him. Everyone who was once sympathetic now wishes she would either leave him or keep her whining to herself.

About 15 years ago we were looking at houses in the San Jose area. I joked at that time there wasn't a million dollar house there that my wife would live in. $700K got you a 1200sf falling apart fixer upper house with about 10 feet of yard on each side and back. I don't know how that compares to now. I wouldn't live there for lots of reasons, the primary one being the the communist nanny state government. Our state government here in NC can be complete idiots but at least for the most part they don't interfere with my life.

The Colorado is the biggest POS I have ever owned! I owned it for 18 months and had nothing but trouble out of the transmission. Fortunately, it convinced me to invest in my first Taco and I feel like I traded up...so far!
