Side note: Not sure if I totally believe that Sid got hurt in practice Friday. Could be after effects from WC, but who knows. Either way it sucks.

 

Pittsburgh Penguins superstar Sidney Crosby has been diagnosed with another concussion and there is no timetable for his return.

General manager Jim Rutherford made the announcement Monday as the team prepared for its regular-season opener Thursday night at home against Washington.

 

Wow, the first one really did a number on him, hopefully this one's not as long lasting.

 

Well the first 'one' was really 2, so they say. But ya, hopefully he recovers quickly.

I have to call you out on this.

I absolutely hate Sid the kid, but hate seeing this type of stuff. Why do people have to be happy hes hurt? The dude is human after all. Pretty classless if you ask me.

 

I think he's happy about Sid not playing against his team. Not that he has a concussion.

Might not have to explain yourself but when someone posts something that disagrees don't get all insulted about it.

IMO your initial post shouldn't have happy smiles and cheering immediately following an injury announcement, followed by telling some guy to shove his completely reasonable post up his ass. That's sort of the definition of classless. Be a man and accept criticism - I know I sure do. Think before you post because it could be misconstrued in many different ways. I know I'm not the only one to have read it the way I did judging from the reaction to my post.

And yes, being happy that your team is not having to play against one of the better players out there because of an injury is absolutely classless. Completely unsportsmanlike. Im sure you'd be pissed if you replaced Sid with Ovechkin in this circumstance.

 

It has nothing to do with another having an injury its having to not have to play against another no matter what the issue may be. Oh and I should say the definition of classless would be to call someone out in a public forum an resort to name calling which is what you did. Oh my fault you must have sort sort of higher brain function and can know what exactly another person is thinking by the text on a website, cheers to you mate. I will leave you with this thought maybe next time you might PM someone if you take issue with another's post instead of in the open forum. Now back to what this is about To Hell with Crosby!!!!
