If you have a garden hose long enough, you might be able to:
    1. Cap one end off with a spray nozzle.
    2. Fill it with water. (make sure to let all the air out)
    3. Have someone pinch the end of the hose the you take off the spigot. (vise grips might work)
    4. Drop the end with the nozzle in a storm drain or a really low spot.
    5. Drop the open end in the water you want to drain.

It might be a little tricky trying to do this by yourself, but if you have enough vertical drop (at least a foot or so) you can siphon the water away.

Might be a long shot but you could probably get one at Homedepot... if everyone else hasn't already got one... or a shop vac...

It takes a while, but it's a cheap way to do it. ;)

I use the same technique when I need to drain my hot tub. It's actually faster and more accessible than the drain valve.

Don't think I can make it. If you're bored the following weekend, we're doing a Mod Day on my truck Sat. Avid Off Road has opened its doors for a big handful of us to accomplish a shit ton of upgrades to my truck so I'm ready for my adventures. First leg with my 2 daughters from AZ to VA.

Did you see that I ordered my conversion? Getting the ARB air locker for rear installed before I head out, and when I return it will go in the shop for a month.... SAS!!!!

I'll be changing out my timing belt and water pump next Saturday 10/22 if anyone wants to stop by and/or help out. PM me for the address. I'll probably get started around 8 or 9am.

No problem. Thank you for the offer but I'm going to rent the pulley tool from AutoZone, and I had to buy a 2nd torque wrench, 181 lb for crank. Only cost me $11 for the 20-200 lb at Harbor Freight.

I may look into an Air Impact, but not in the budget this week.

Good luck with that and have fun! I'll be fixing stuff left over from Matthew, otherwise I'd stop by.
