I go back and forth on the locker... in one aspect you're already in there for gears so it's logical to do it then. on the other hand, it's not used as much as you'd think. at least in my experience. so :notsure:

I've been back and forth also. Just from others telling me to get it is what's making me thinking about getting it

if you think you will do it at some point, then it definitely makes sense to do it all at once to save on labor.

I just don't know if I'm gonna go that route.

I'm not, haven't needed it yet. If there's a spot I do need it, don't think I should be there. (as in I can't find another way around or can't get up without having a front locker) Not worth the price to me plus you break CVs easier

Plus I'd have to get OBA a lot sooner since I'm regearing next spring, so meh I'll use that cash for suspension upgrades

I gave up on fitting anywhere. Now I sure won't with rtt on top of the cab.
I guess I dont feel like my truck is slow. I just drive in 4 and it chugs along with plenty of go

Yeaaa. Last tank I got 14 and the few before 15. Which isn't that bad considering stock I could only muster 17.

my work parking garage is only 6'6" of clearance. that's why my RTT is on a bed rack and why I can't do a roof rack :(

Gears then tires or save and do both at the same time. Nothing says pavement pounder more than rushing big tires just to get big tires :shitstorm:
CVs are like $100 and a quick trail fix. That shouldn't be a decision breaker IMO (not saying you did just pointing it out).

I have to admit I do worry about breaking a cv when offroading if I had a front locker. Still thinking about getting one though cause like you said it's an easy fix

And I wouldn't think of any other company doing my diff work than ECGS and I live on the other side of the country. Their service, both mechanical and customer, is as good as it gets.

It's not a breaker more of a down side, but too much cash for me. Rather spend it on something I'll use a lot more. Maybe a ways down the road when I go 35's and all that shit. (highly unlikely but who knows)

Oh trust me, they'd ideally come at the same time or within a few weeks (with no wheeling in between....)
