    I've been trying to call the ranger station since Friday, but it's hard to get someone on the phone sometimes. The website says it's open and up-to-date, but this is also there: **ALERT** Due to the Rey Fire, thre are some roads and trails that are TEMPORARILY CLOSED until further notice.     YES! I'm guessing that's a 1/4 wave whip? So 108"? I don't hit enough shit with my base loaded HF antenna, so this should work great for that. It still works for ham right? :cookiemonster: I'll trade ya beer worth drinking.

    I don't know if it works for HAM. Maybe? It's just too big for my truck and annoying to me (hitting drive thrus and parking garages TINK TINK TINK TINK hahaha). I got a smaller Diamond 2m antenna. I can measure it tonight if you want? I always take beer worth drinking for free stuff!
