    I'd like to know what the email said....because I can take a set of 2017 non pro tailights and put them on a 2016. There's seems no reason why the pro ones won't fit on your truck.

    Here is the email reply below ... i placed the order and it wanted the VIN# from my 2016 Tacoma (SR5 4x4) i emailed them back and said " the ones i ordered are the 2017 TRD Pro tail light assemblies and i was under the impression from what i read online that they fit the 2016 Tacoma "

    Thank you for placing you order with Partznet!Per the VIN provided, the part numbers you are ordering is incorrect. The correct part numbers for the tail lamps you ordered is 81550-04170 and 81560-04170 and the cost is $136.86 each. We can make the substitution for you and refund your method of payment for the difference. Please reply to this e-mail to confirm.

    Well that is correct. Per the VIN those are the tailights for your truck. The 17's still fit. It was correcting your part number because you provided a vin. You should be good to go boss. It still takes a man to tell a computer what to do. Comp was just doing its job.

    Those are the part numbers I ordered for my Limited and they should fit...I see no reason why they shouldn't.

    I'm so conflicted... Partznet is close enough to me that I can get free shipping (aka pick up at their showroom which I've done many times before), but they don't have the grille insert for sale anymore.

    My truck is Super White though, so if I order 53100-04600-A0, I get the whole surround for $377 and free shipping... and it definitely should have no busted tabs.

    You talking about the TRD PRO grill insert? I have one on the way today from Partznet ( Conicelli Toyota in Pennsylvania ) i think they just got some in

    They aren't selling them anymore. Guess they got flooded or cut off by Toyota or something. Like I said though the full grille in super white is available, I'm guessing because no one ordered it that way yet.

    They pulled it off their site when their back order list got too long a couple weeks ago when I tried to order, I ended up ordering elsewhere and have it already, but it seems they are just being responsible, and not taking money from people without knowing when they can deliver. I am sure if you want to get on their back order list anyway you can call them, I have ordered a lot from them and they are always very helpful.

    Ordered this morning and called them immediately after my purchase to confirm inventory (talked to Steve in the parts department and he said they just received a few more units in stock). I had added it to my shopping cart before they removed it from the website a few days ago and was able to submit my order.

    I went through most of the checkout but didn't like the shipping cost to me so I didn't finish the order. I received an email later that day with a coupon code for 10% off. So with the coupon, it was a great deal.
