That's the name of the restaurant in Hogsmeade part of the Park. Apparently from the Harry Potter series.

Sometimes the wife has weird combination cravings. I accommodate. Mashed potatoes and country gravy with seared tuna and spicy salsa.

    Ya that's a weird combination. :)

Better than never trying weird things though.

Depends on your definition of close. It's not really... (Lee Vining) but there's some great food spots in Bishop!

This is Latte Da. A coffee shop with great breakfast sammiches.

Whoa Nellie Deli at 395 and 120/Tioga Rd to Yosemite for lunch or dinner.

June Lake Brewing for beer and the food truck.

    Mammoth Brewing in Mammoth.
    Mountain Rambler Brewing in Bishop.
    Mahogany Meats
    Schats bakery. Both in Bishop.

I'm sure there's more but that's what comes to mind. We're down that way frequently in the summer, would love to meet up!

Unfortunately, Type II means no more beer for me, carbs :(. We pull the TD to Hermit Valley, over to Kennedy Meadows, Sonora, June Lake, Big Pine, Lone Pine, Tom's Place, Lee Vining, Bridgeport, more, more, and more. Too many places to camp, hopefully enough time left in our lives to do them all.

Not moving until Robi has her surgery in January, probably be late next year. At least there is Toyota dealer in Bishop, bought 10 years of maintenance, want one close by!
