Seems most around here prefer OEM or EBC. I just changed mine 2 weeks ago with Duralast Gold pads and rotors. Seems to stop well.

DSC_0269.jpg I have R1 Concepts drilled and slotted rotors and the pads that come with the kit. I had a lady pull out in front of me, I was doing 60, mashed on them and it stopped so quickly that it rolled my Yeti Cooler UP ON ITS END. Like long ways. Stopped with about the force of a collision, but a few feet before I actually had a collision. Would definitely recommend themDSC_0279.jpg These are the only pictures I have on my computer where you can kinda see them

Interesting...sounds like something that would fit my needs. I do a lot of commuting down here in SoCal so brakes like that would be extremely helpful especially with all the tards on the road out here

I'm a believer in them no doubt! cant attest to durability because I've only had them for about 10k miles, but mine is a big girl for a tacoma and will stop on a dime

I like that site, or autoanything.com for brakes.. Mostly because they have free shipping and lots of choices

I was recently looking for rotors and pads and went with EBC. I also saw a lot of people say OEM and Brembo. IIRC Brembo and OEM were more expensive than the EBC, yet the EBC had a lot of good reviews/recommendations.

I use the Napa Ultra Premium Pads with Toyota Rotors

Because when hunting for this Toyota did not have the pads in stock

I did the tundra brake conversion w/ Toyota OEM calipers, rotors, and brake pads not the aftermarket parts store components. Which made it a lot more expensive but in the long run worth it. I also bought a set of Wheeler's steel braided brake lines. This is the only way to go. I don't know why people get drilled & slotted rotors for our trucks unless you plan on racing them for the need of such high heat disappation.

Do you not need to go to 16" wheels to have caliper clearance ??

This is the only reason I won`t do this upgrade buying wheels to change over all the Toyota vehicle s 24 wheels plus a spare for the street legal vehicles would get expensive

IMG_5065.jpgIMG_5066.jpgBrake Performance.com, get a pair of dimple drilled slot rotors with semimetallic pads the best stopping power but now stay with TG stuffs due to SASed
Edit: you can pick them up in couple hours if you live in south Cali

I've had good luck with Brembo blanks and Hawk pads. Painted my calipers at the same time:

This is what I started to see people say about drilled and slotted rotors and is why I went with blanks.

This is also the reason I passed on the Tundra brake upgrade. I'm running the stock 15" rims that came w my truck, so I would've needed rims and tires plus all the new brake hardware.
