Toyota TRD Off Road Bilsteins and Coils Question

I scored a set of Tacoma TRD Off Road Bilsteins and Coils from a guy. Anyway, I am trying to find out if there is a difference between the driver's side and passenger side coils and struts. I haven't looked carefully yet, but I thought that y'all would know from experience in exchanging/replacing them. Thanks for your help.

Not true, the driver side coil is slightly more extend to account for the weight of the driver and gas.

OP if you set the two coils on a flat surface the taller of the two will be your driver side coil. This will help your truck account for the "taco lean".

 

They lean anyways though.

 

Well if that's the case, then it would lean even more if you put it on the wrong side.

Notice the upper coil has a slightly elongated gap towards the top, that's to account for driver and fuel weight.

Thanks, but it's a pain to keep painted next to the fenders though. They rub when I take it off roading and it drives me crazy. I need to lower it more so I don't have to worry about it.

 

It's the All pro right? It's rubbing paint off the fenders or off the bumper itself?

 

Both...the design isn't the best when it comes to flexing. The body moves around but the bumper doesn't. So when I go over a large obstacle, the body rubs against the top of the bumper rubbing off the paint from both. I have dropped the bumper and added two washers on both sides where it bolts up to the frame, but apparently that was not enough. I'm going to add another and see if that helps.

 

Damn that sucks to hear. I was thinking about getting one sooner or later but I am really OCD when it comes to my paint and little chips etc.
