Almost time to go pick up the set of wheels for the day...

Not much that was close, and the only stuff that was close was all boring so i went with the cheapest critter out there...a smart car. Haven't driven one, we'll see how she does.

Second choice was a 69 beetle, but it was also far away... 14 mile uber in the wrong direction to pick it up and drop it off didn't sound like fun.

Assuming that what's in the article is accurate, nope not justified.
Boys weren't armed (unless the pistol was theirs but even then the homeowner states they had a cell phone, he never mentions weapons that he saw), weren't assailing the house (stealing plants doesn't count), and it's reported that one boy was shot while attempting to escape back over the fence which throws out any chance of self defense as it's hard to argue that your life is in danger from someone fleeing from you.

For any kind of self defense ruling, proper handling would have been to call the cops, perhaps yell a warning at the people in the yard, and find a defensible position to stand your ground in case they breach the house.

Sounds like the grow may have been illegal and the homeowner had related offenses in the past. Appears to be a case of a piece of crap two bit drug dealer murdering two kids.

 

What's with everyone and back problems? Just the one manager here is hurting also...
