i was gonna reply to @herbertgerg's thread, but had to restart the computer. mom's side of my family is Herbert. and I had a 99. That was my first Tacoma. I wanted white so bad, but there were already 2 white ones where I worked. so I got Imperial Jade Mica. Loved that color. 1999 SR5 V6 4x4 with cd player and manual locking hubs. First 30k, that truck was a piece of shit and pissed me off monthly. After 30k, though, not a single problem. #theonethatgotaway.

This was somewhere in far northern British Columbia, headed home from Alaska. Slept in the cab for about a week. Only picture I have, that I know of.

I took my truck to https://www.heartlandtoyota.ca/ for an oil change. The service manager gave me a badass Rand McNally map of Canada. For various reasons, that was one of the coolest things that someone has given me.
