Mechanical Engineer at ArcOne

 

I am a Sales Analyst for MathWorks, a company that makes engineering software.

 

I'm a front end software engineer at IBM

 

Order manager for a company called Waterworks, which means I place orders with vendors we purchase product from, and follow up to get ship dates, make sure the orders ship and get tracking info for them. Basically I don't deal with customers but deal with internal people as well and the vendors we purchase from, which I think is worse than dealing with the customer itself. I get hate mail left and right, which is sad.

Not to mention they just gave me a vendor that another guy used to handle, because he took on something else, and they are by far the worse vendor we deal with as far as on time production and shipping. So since I took over, for the past 2-3 weeks, I've been getting shit on left and right daily.

It's mosaics and some tile. We're a high end bathroom company.

Congrats! I'm with you on wanting to go home. Crunch mode all week and I'm burned out. Of course a friend wants my help hauling a couch from Reading to Somerville after work.
