    I'd call and ask. Some HDs carry it, I think Lowe's as well, and some auto parts stores.

    If all else fails, Amazon is your friend.

    If you're going to use a lubricant, I'd stay away from wet ones. I recommend Dry Moly Lube. You can get a 14oz can for $10 on Aamazon prime. Stuff works great!

    It most definitely is a permanent solution, no question about that. Lot's of spring manufactures put them in all sprung leaves, but one.

    Forget the Dakars... my OME front end won't stop squeaking. I've had it to the off-road customs shop twice to "lube" things and they can't make it stop squeaking. Even just had the upper ball joints (SPC LR Racing UCA's) replaced under warranty. Really annoying... not exactly sure what it is that's actually making the noise.

    I got rid of my crappy OME suspension... I ran it for over a year and never, not once, had a squeak from the OME coilover.

    I suspect yours is most likely the poly bushing in the UCA. I recommend Prothane Super Grease for poly. Best shit on the planet, ever, for poly.

    Welcome. It's very expensive grease, but it's second to none. It is waterproof and extremely tacky. It's very difficult to get off skin or anything else it gets on.

    You might have changed the overall deflection rate of the pack by putting those spacers in between the leafs. The load is no longer transfered to the entire lengths of lower leafs. Not a problem stress wise, but theoretically, you will get more deflection.

    Softer and quieter Dakar, win win.
