Finally got it! Gray 09 DC LB TRD Sport

The camera is pretty cool. Once you get close to something it helps you make sure you don't hit it, but I'm still old school when it comes to backing and like looking over my shoulder. It's nice being in the rear view mirror, because if you're using the mirror, it's easy to glance to the left a bit to look at the camera. Not as useful as my wife's backup camera on her Lexus since the Lexus' screen is way bigger, but still nice to have.

I'm actually pretty lucky. I fly for a government agency, so the economy doesn't hurt me much, but it is definitely hurting friends of mine that fly (except those in the corporate flying business) so I feel for yah.

I went from a 2006 BMW 325i. This is a different driving experience, but I do not regret it. I say DO IT!

Whoa, that color looks incredible on the Tacoma! Congrats on the ride.

 

I love that color and it has some nice options on it now. I'm in Fresno a lot on weekends. Sometimes I drive the truck but lately been taking Amtrak as it is cheaper than gas.

 

You can't beat Amtrak's prices. Plus you can catch up on your sleep.

I guess southern cali just has higher prices for vehicles because of all the regulations and stuff.

I got it about a month ago so with gas prices getting high, the 09's coming out, and I shopped around for about a month with all of the Internet sales managers in the area. It is a 4x2 though. I almost wonder though if I shouldve waited for the 09 but I wanted to get a good price. That gray is nice!

I had to wait two weeks longer than expected, but we (me and the dealer) are not sure why. A truck he ordered at the same time came in a few days after I called, and this one came in much later. I know the fleet manager, so when I called he put my name on a truck that was already ordered. I'm not sure how long it will take from start to finish if you order one from scratch.

 

I would have gone for that colour if it was available 2 years ago... still happy with the speedway blue though!
