I am looking at these. I want all season use, with the better snow capability Both by Cooper.
Discoverer X/T 4. or Discoverer AT/W Which is the better for mostly hiway driving, but great in Canadian winter snow?

coming from another canadian, I have never found an A/T to be great in the snow.
Nothing beats an actual winter tire.

But from all I've heard not one you listed but cooper AT3, many say are great in snow as well. So might be something to consider. Haven't heard anything about the others.

Not sure where you are in Canada so ya. I know for Ontario though we get enough snow and usually lots of ice so its worth having a proper winter tire, plus might cost you a bit extra to have an extra set but in the long run you have two sets so won't wear out as fast.
    just my $0.02.

Thank you.I presently am running COOPER AT3s.They are a great tire, but did not find them to be anything special in snow and ice. Great looking, great wearing!! Bought a 17,traded in my 13,and have been researching tires. I am also looking at Michelin Defender as I seldom leave the pavement. Will continue my opinion gathering.Cheers
