I have a few american relatives and they've been doing it a lot lately.
They order stuff send it here and then come get it. I'm not that far from NYC. About a 10hour drive. So they usually come for the week and pick up their stuff.
Or I drive down to Niagara and mail it from there since domestic is much cheaper.
About a 45min drive to niagara.

Thanks for this. I really like getting some more organized and secure storage options. I don't like messes or things rattling around.

Can you attach the photo here? My network blocks photobucket!

Also, what type of plastic are you printing with? ABS?

All the pics I posted on this thread where uploaded here. None of my pics on this thread are on Photobucket.. except for my signature pic.

    For now, printing with PLA.

You may want to consider using ABS or PETG. PLA will deform pretty easily if left in direct sunlight or in a very hot vehicle, at least in the Southern Summer. Here in Texas, I've left a couple protos in my vehicle for just a few hours and they deformed when printed using PLA.

Currently my printer can only go up to 230c, so ABS wont work and PETG is a maybe. Since I'm just focused on prototyping right now, the PLA is working fine. I haven't had and deforming issues yet, however im in SoCAL and its October. For anyone concerned, PLA starts to deform at 180c. I plan to make some molds next and cast with resin.

I will pick up a spool of PETG to play with anyways as its been on my radar for some time.

Yeah, the keyless remote can even be in the backseat. On the rare occasion I go to the gym I normally leave my keys in my gym back when I leave and the bag always goes on my bag seat and I've never had an issue starting the truck etc.

PLA starts to melt at 180c. It softens at a much lower temperature and can deform fairly easily in direct sunlight. Just trying to save you a bunch of refund/replacement issues brother! Good luck with the mold/casting - that's the next skill I need to learn :)

You should be able to get a clean print using PETG at 225c-230c, so long as your machine can sustain that temperature under load.

I'm not trying to sell too many because of that same reason. For Anyone who buys a PLA version and experiences melting, I will replace it with a non-PLA version + shipping.

    Thanks for the advice.

Dammit. Now I don't know if I want the switch panel or the coin holder. Bastard. Have you by chance thought of making another holder for the cup holder right behind the little trapezoid you're building now? You could have all my money.

Sorry to put you in that position. Yes, I have some cup holder designs in the works, but they are more generic and not sized perfectly to the cup holder behind the trapazoid box.

I have a design sketched out that bridges the trapazoid box and the cup holder together utilizing all of that space.
