I was originally debating between Fox and BP51.
Talked to a few on here with the BP51 and Fox.
Some who had fox then had bp51, well they went back to fox.

Fox has great reviews. and offers a bit more lift.
So so far plan on going with the fox. unless someone can convince me otherwise.

Thats the one thing that concerns me with the BP-51 is the height difference. what were their reasonings for going back to fox?

all said the fox was a nicer ride (just suggested going with dakars instead of AAL)
also easier to adjust, just turn a dial on the reservoir, where as bp 51 you need the spanners to get to the adjustment.
and the fox offers up to 3inch of lift where BP is only 2inch.

I'd consider Icon if someone could convince me that it may be better than the Fox.

My icons are pretty sweet and ride great, but I'm running the 2.5 RR rears. I have no knowledge of how the OME system rides. Does the OME kit come with 2.5 RR rears, because the Icon stage 4 is 2.0. And as far as I know the OME kit doesn't come with UCAs where as the icon uni balls or billet arms come with a complete stage 4.

I've talked to a few guys on here and they said they've gotten 2.5 inches to almost 3. unlike the advertised 2 inches for the BP-51. Been researching this same thing, I've heard nothing but good things about all 3 (Fox, Icon, OME) all the companies put out great products. I've been leaning towards OME myself.

I originally thought OME, but didn't hear anything about getting more than 2" but good to hear.

But the Fox kit also comes with UCA. I priced out the two I can get Total chaos UCA and fox suspension with dakars for the same price as just the OME with no UCA.

I haven't really looked into Icon too much.

I believe the OME is 2.0 in the rear as well, and depending on who you order from they include UCA's with the BP-51 set up. with that being said they don't state what brand UCA's they are so Im not sure about that. what stage icon are you running, and how is the ride on road and offroad compared to stock? Also what wheel tire combo are you running?

EDIT: disregard the question concerning wheel tire combo, I see your description now

That was my initial concern as well, but i'm hearing more and more about getting more than 2" out of it. Also look around some places sell the BP-51 kit with UCA's at "no additional cost" even though lets be honest we all know we're paying for it somewhere.

I've been looking into ICON a lot after hearing lots of good things and great things about their customer service

That's the one downside is the UCAs.. The guys @TheToyotaGarage on IG, they installed them on a 3rd Gen and said they got closer to 3 inches.

I'm running more or less a stage 5. Icon 2.5 RR Ext travel coilovers, Icon 2.5 RR rears, Icon leaf pack, DirtKing Control arms, and a DirtKing 1" Diff drop. It rides pretty sweet offroad, and I beat on it pretty often since I basically live in the Mojave. On road it's great also, and with no sway bar still hugs the road great. I'm running 0 offset Method Mesh wheels with 285/75r16 Toyo AT2s.

Overall, compared to stock, it's a huge upgrade. I also got it all (Minus wheels and tires) for well under the cost of a BP51, Stage 4/5, or Fox set up NIB, which helped my icon decison a bit. But I wouldn't trade it out at this point unless it was for an LT kit and Custom Kings.

This^ Kings are tits, but a bit overkill for most depending on the build. I'd have kings if I hadn't basically stole my icons when I bought them.

I emailed the guys at OK4wd about that exact question and they said the UCA's included are the SPCs, but that they couldn't list that on the website due to contract.

I'm currently working through this same question and pricing for my future '17 build.
    Debating King, Icon, or BP-51.

I've heard the same about the BP-51s getting well over 2 inches of lift.

I can't remember where I saw it, but someone was wondering if the BP-51s had extended travel or if they were the same as stock shocks. If they are the same as stock, that's a major selling point for the Kings and Icons in my mind.

Thats a bad ass set up you've got, good work. When you can walk away with a set up like that for a steal it tends to make the decisions a bit easier haha. I won't be doing much desert running but more steep rocky old forest service roads. I'd like a good balance of off and on road comfort and handling. How much trimming and CMC did you have to do to fit those tires?

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
I just got an Icon setup. Extended 2.5 rr 700lb with total chaos ucas in the front. And 2.0 rrs with dakars in the back.

First you should probably decide if you want progressive or digressive valving.

That is good to know, I hadn't gotten that far as to ask them which brand it was. Thanks for the intel.

That would be a game changer for sure if the BP-51 are not extended travel. I'm leaning more and more towards ICON

Welllllll I haven't managed to do my CMC yet lol Needless to say, work would rather I have a rub and not have time to play with a grinder. It'll be a standard CMC and be fine, but I trimmed a slight bit of plastic. It only rubs currently in full lock in reverse, but that's it. It's only enough rub to annoy me, not to the point of sounding like a chainsaw in the wheel well.
