Also, I need suggestions on what to get for each one. I'm new to this. Like what level kit is good?
If go 17s with level kit, would 295s be too much? What retractable bed cover do people like most? Any "must get" LED lights?

I was looking at just leveling it. I don't plan on doing much off-roading; may go on some trails, but def not anything that is too much. I've just always enjoyed the look of a truck leveled. That article gave me more information than I could have imagined haha.

I'm looking at a bed cover specifically so that I can keep my work stuff dry without having to use my backseat.

Not going, at least not any time soon, with a light bar. I just don't see me ever using it. I do like the idea of replacing all the bulbs in/on truck already with LEDs though. I'll have to look into the Cali Raised LED.

FYI on the lights, there are a few threads about folks figuring out the light changes caused or think it caused other issues, worth looking into before investing the money.

Do you have the link for the threads that claim the issues?

Definitely worth looking into, but read those threads with a big grain of salt. There seems to be more conjecture and hearsay than experimentally derived evidence.

A look into the future to see if Toyota comes up with fixes and fixes our problems . would be great to know if I am still happy with it 15 years from now.

I don't at the moment, Honestly I have read spome many things here the last few weeks and dam near impossible to remeber what I read let alone find it. 1 I clearly remeber is the guy had issues, put back in the stock lights and every thing was fine.

Well there ya go then. Keep the original lights. If you have a problem put them back in and bob's yer uncle.

If you're in SoCal I have a retractable tonneau cover for sale. See sig.

Edit: Looks like you have a shortbed though. Nevermind.
