5100s for 2016 3rd Gen Tacos

    Well crap. I got these kinda second hand from a buddy that decided to go with spacers instead. I guess its just that little rubber insert, and the big washer I am missing. The washer I can pick up a hardware store the rubber piece is another issue. The shop that put his on probably just decided to say F* it and not put them back into the box. I am almost tempted to drive it like it is to the hardware store and see what I can find.

    Ya I used a 7mm wrench to hold the shaft while I tightened it to the end of the threads. It is bottomed out right now.

    I appreciate the quick response though!

    With the weight of the truck in them it would probably be fine. Where are your factory struts? Did they not have the parts on top of them befor you pulled them off

    No. The factory shocks just have a lock nut and a small washer, not as big as the one in your pictures. Also no rubber spacer.

    Ya I ended up stopping and hitching a ride to work today. The buddy that hooked me up with the shocks called the shop that took them off for him and they luckily still had them on a shelf in the back somehow. Gonna finish up the drivers side tonight, get the passenger side done, and then have tires put on and an alignment tomorrow afternoon.

    5100s all around on stock coils TRD sport 4x4 LB

    front set to 1.75

    Rear : Is this a solid setup for a modest lift ? whats the difference between the AAL and a 1.5 inch block ? just ride quality ?

    Ive heard mixed reviews on keeping stocks coils with 5100s or buying the OMEs with 5100s

    Im a rook, someone please point me in the right direction ! =D

    Anyone know anything about calibrating for new tires in the computer after you change sizes? I thought I read on here we were supposed to, but I cant find anything on it.
