Is this going to be the storm of the century? The news is crazy.
    5 overturned semi's on the I-8. I-17 closing at 6:00PM?????

I have been here 10 years and have never seen this much attention given to the weather.

Its because in the last few years, we have gotten shit for rain. What was last years rain fall? 2.65" for the year? We got 2" total last year at my place.

Yeah I think they said we are getting more ran in the last couple days then we have gotten in the last 2 years combined.

They just closed Sky Harbor to any incoming flights.

DPS is probably sick of cleaning up dead bodies off of the freeways. It's easier to just shut 'em down, then trying to keep the morons off the road!

We got slammed here in Prescott with snow last night, now it's this horrible driving rain which will make for nice black ice tonight.

Pinal County right now has a tornado warning! We've had about 30mph sustained winds here in sierra vista all day, they are expecting gust tonight to get up to 70-85 mph.

Well we had a tornado warning last night in Scottsdale. I have heard rumors of touchdowns in either Paradise Valley or Desert Ridge. I didn't think we had tornadoes here

Dude there was a funnel cloud in Gilbert. I was at work last night (Scottsdale Health Care Hospital) and the wind blew the automatic doors open...it was insane. I haven't seen a storm with that much intensity since I lived in Indiana...My poor fiance' was watching the weather channel and it said to take cover immediately, so she grabbed up our cats and hid in the bathtub...bless her heart, she was terrified cause she's not used to that kind of weather lol

Yeah my wife was working at Phoenix Childrens and called to make sure that I brought the dog inside. I think she was more concerned for the dog than me but I don't blame her.
