1/8 bsp male to 1/4 npt female adapter, then use the 1/4 npt stainless leader hose from viair?

    Roger that.

Thanks! Good find, that's a candidate. It's just a gamble whether it's BSP or NPT. I think 1/8" is right.

I was going to order this 1/8" NPT male, to 1/4" hose barb for $1.62 and try it.

I really want to know before I buy. I'll try ARB and see what they say.

I just ordered the $1.62 part and will try. I'll send it back if it doesn't work.

    Thanks

Why is that? Did you have problems with the MV90? Or just decided to upgrade?

The ARB twin should have come with 4 bolts for the compressor. But if not, I believe M6 1.0 should work. This was based off a conversation with @Crom He may be able to verify.

Correct. My notes said M6 x 1.0. I found them at AutoZone, class 10.9 in zinc Dichromate finish, looks like gold. :)

1/8" NPT is wrong. I should have tried BSP thread like you suggested. So, I have a 1/8" BSP male to hose barb fitting coming to me on the slow boat from China.

I expect this one to work. Hope it arrives before my next trip.

No. I don't think that will work with the ARB air chuck. I could be wrong, but I don't think there is enough room to adapt on the manifold. I went with this:

8mm OD Hose Barb 9.5mm 1/8BSP Brass Coupler

This is more of a FYI in case anyone else is doing something similar

I run my rear locker off my OBA set up with a pressure regulator right next to the ARB solenoid. I was wondering why my cab was starting to smell like gear oil. Come to find out that my ARB air line is acting like a secondary extended diff breather (which I already have - extended to the gas door) and gear oil was leaking through the solenoid and all over my stuff. I just ordered a ball valve lever that I'll be putting in-line right before the solenoid and just flipping it on when I'm on the trails. Hopefully that will limit how much gear oil travels upward into the solenoid.

I read (online) that there are seals in the diff that are supposed to prevent the air line getting contaminated with oil.
The seal has gone bad, or installation error.

I had a similar issue except my tank was being filled with gear oil... ECGS did a warranty job on it and said the seals were installed correctly , checked everything else and said it was all correct too. I think the ARB design just isn't leak proof and the locker act as a suction somehow. When I disconnected the air line from the diff and drove around there was still oil being pushed out.

I need to inspect mine as I installed mine pretty much the same way in the same location, I thought I got a hint of gear oil smell the other day.

they changed the design on them a yr or so ago to prevent this maybe he has the old design or the new design didn't fix the problem.
