I was told, if anything get their underoil as its guaranteed for 10 years with no touch-ups/maintenance and is best on the market. Any truth to that or is there a better option for underoil and paint protection?

I spend a fair amount of time up north and the roads are absolutely covered in sand/salt. Don't want this thing a mess down the road.

 

Sounds like typical salesman hot air.. but if you want it, go for it. You'll likely find a better product for less money elsewhere, but some people like paying for a "guarantee."

Here's the way I see it, ted. Guy puts a fancy guarantee on a box cause he wants you to feel all warm and toasty inside.

 

Most dealership protection packages are simply cash generating devices.

Toyota has corossion warranty built into the purchase, most sales people don't even know that.

I personally like 3m invisible paint protection if you do a lot of highway driving in snow regions where there's lots of gravel.

The oil is garbage, I'd only ever go that route if I lived in a salt region like NE USA or Canadian east coast.
