I have read that a pencil eraser gets the wax residue off black plastic.

303 is great stuff for interior. Its also great at leaving streaks on your paint exterior. No thank you. Does price per oz really work out when you have to reapply every other week?

I tried to migrate to Chemical Guys and I just couldn't do it. Did not like the results I was getting. I have a gallon of V7 that I am struggling to use cause I prefer Adams or Kenotek detail sprays more.

What are you using to keep your dash clean? I did a full interior detail today and I'm still not happy with some spots on my dash.

I used to use armorall interior detailer but that shit used to make the dash leopard print if you didn't use it every couple of weeks. junk.

Sorry should have clarified about when it rains, 303 will leave streaks on your paint after it runs off the vinyl.

For me it didn't even take a rain. Put it on the bed rail caps one day. Had a heavy dew early morning. By the time I got to work every place where the dew formed droplets and ran down the side of my bed, it left streaks of residue.

Dries to a durable coating that will not wash off.
    • A blend of synthetic polymers that form a durable and protective coating on vinyl and convertible tops
    • New vinyl and convertible tops do not generally need to be treated until some wear or fading is evident
If you click that Amazon link those words are in the description. Then you can scroll down and read the reviews and asked questions.

Read the reviews on duragloss....funny how one of the reviews states he's moved on to using 303 LOL

    Anyway.
Listen. I really don't care what you use on your truck. I dont even know why I've replied this many times. But its evident that if you have to apply 303 multiple times (as you've stated) then you're applying it wrong, which is also why you're getting streaks and its running. Like most people who apply product, they over-apply it and run into issues w/ removal, excess, and running; like you are. Learn to apply it correctly and you wont get the runs and it'll last as long as it's designed to, despite what you believe.

Lighten up Francis, its all in good fun. There are other posters who have had issues with streaks. Not saying it's a bad product just not the best product for exterior trim. I have enough experience with products to know its not operator error for once.

Last week i ordered a pile of stuff from Adam's Polishes

    Link: http://adamspolishes.com/

They popped up on my instagram one day and i started looking into their products. I've been trying all kinds of detailing products over the last few years and will only use what i like best even if i have to order it from 27 different places to assemble it all to do one car. Thats just how i am.

So back to this order i placed. I ordered Americana wax, a paint sealant kit with applicators and double soft microfiber towel, upholstery cleaner, a wheel whoolie (to clean the back of your wheels without removing them from the vehicle, a tire brush, and they had tire shine up for their daily sale. So i grabbed it too.

Fast forward. Order ships from them in colorado and i get it 4-5ish days later. Fedex guy dropped it off first thing. Its like 9 am. He is never that early. Didn't ring the doorbell...usually does. I open the door and he is already gone. I immediately see why. The bottom half of the box is soaked. So i open the garage and set it on top of the garbage can to slice it open. As soon as i get it open and pull the soaked packaging out. I see the problem. The lid on the tire shine is gone. Gone as in, on the other side of the box.

The packing list is soaked and has fallen apart. 98% of the tire shine is gone. There is a stain on my porch. Probably a stain in every fedex truck east of Colorado. Why they continued to deliver it floors me.

I cleaned all the bottles and brushes with dawn soap....was able to save them. Emailed Adams Polishes right then and there (saturday morning). I told them what exactly happened and that i was very disappointed in how it went down.

Fast forward to today, 4pm ish. I get an email. New towels and applicators are on the way. New bottle of tire shine is on the way and its expedited. Then I get another email. "Sorry for the issue, we have invoiced you for the following items and you will see that they are free of charge. We sincerely apologize for the mishap and will research how to clean the stain off of your porch and get back to you. Thanks again ------ from adam's polishes" (Forgive me for paraphrasing, but thats basically what she said). ($45 worth of shit, all because i told them there was an issue. They didn't even ask for pictures. WHICH I HAVE).

So i am fairly pleased with these people and i haven't even had time to try their products yet! I did end up saving everything. The applicators and double soft microfiber have yellow tire shine stains but i will still keep them and wash them a few more times before i use them. I also got the stain off the porch. Simple green is the greatest product on earth. I use it for everything.

    Pictures:

In this one you can see i found the cap. I set it next to the bottle it was missing from.

Did you happen to see a red insert for the bottle in the box? Usually when Adams ships a liquid it has a red insert/cap in the bottle plus the regular black lid. Their customer service is top notch.

So I have a question when it comes to wax/sealant. Since one gives more shine and one creates more of a protecting surface, could you possibly put a coat of wax on first then a sealant over top to get best of both worlds? Or does it not work that way?
