Yeah they suck

 

Ok, now you got me screwed up. I was just about to order the Huskys, but then saw this. And there is a GB going on for the Weathertechs that should reach 20% off shipped price, so that will make them pretty damn close in price.

My co-worker just got the Weathertechs in his '15 F150 and they look ok but have the side that is not laying down right on the floor as I've heard before about them.

 

I have weathertechs in my Taco but figured I would try the huskys in my wife's civic, I would not buy them again as they never fit to the sides. Tried heating them up and bending them out with weights and still they sucks, they also slide around. They didn't bother to make use of the clips in the civic.

 

I saw that that weather tech group buy too. The huskys are still cheaper as the gb price is a discount off the shipped price on weather techs website, not the base price. So for my fj they are like $127 shipped. 20% off is $25, so they would be ~$100. The huskys with 10% off are $80 shipped. Can't really go wrong with either.though.

 

I bought them for my wife's car and I really like them. I have Weathertechs in the back of my Ford and hate them. They are the worst mats I've ever had. I have Husky's in the front and also had them in the Tacoma and loved them. The Weathertechs went on sale so I bought them for the rear of the Ford and definitely regret it.

I'd go with the Morimotos. Personally, I think the 'square peg in a round hole' look is not a good one but also, the Morimoto fogs will be awesome as actual fog lights. They'll have a crisp cutoff and give you a nice, wide pattern, perfect for foul weather.

Ha, read my post and that'll really throw you for a loop. My F150 weathertechs are doing the same thing. They don't lay flat worth a damn and slide around all over the place. They are a terrible design. I've never seen the Tacoma fronts though, maybe they are better.

 

Screw it, I'm getting a set of the Huskys.

 

Might as well just give them to me. Don't want you getting upset every time you look at them.

I have the weathertechs for the front of my F150 and very happy with them. Fit is great and no issues with curling. I have a one piece that goes over the hump so its tough to have them slide around - but pleased with them all around.

 

I run the diode dynamics led bulbs. I have had the bumper submerged and they still work fine. They are stupid bright too. Though expensive....

 

I see... going to try these Morimoto ones and see how it goes. Thanks for the input!

You really do pay for quality when it comes to automotive LED's. I bought my led DRL's from vleds.com and they were pricey. But the quality was great.

Tell you what, you buy a set of Husky's for the rear and I'll gladly trade you! If they weren't so damn expensive, I would have replaced them long ago. But, since they're like $100, I can't afford to just scrap them and start over so I'll deal with them on this truck.
