Just be prepared for a chore once you try to remove it. Especially with all of the edges on your wheels.

So I painted a coke can with the spray paint I had and it didn't match my rims color at all... So I got an idea and started rummaging through a drawer in the house and found myself a black paint pen. And here are the results.

    1) nasty curb rashed rim :(
    2) fixed rim :)
    3) the paint marker I used

It's not perfect but it's allot better than the crome aluminum color shining through on the black rims.

I'm far from a wheel expert (or know anything about wheels) but the wheels appear in the pictures to be considerably wider than the tires. I just walked out to the shop and laid a straight edge across my Toyo's (same tires as yours) and the sidewall of the tire was a good 1/2" wider than the wheel. With the wheels sticking out like yours I would suspect many more curb rashes in your future with them. Maybe some of those wheel protector/highlighters that I seen used on Wheeler-Dealer the other night might be an investment needed for your rims.

The same shit everyone else has.
The correct way would to be to dismount the tires then...

    1. Weld
    2. Grind
    3. Sand
    4. Paint/polish to achieve desired finish.

If there are any minor imperfections on the faces of the wheels, you can use body filler or a high build primer then block em out instead of welding.

Ive done this with many sets of wheels and it much better than plastidiping them.

I had a negative experience with said derp and WD-40 when I mocked up what my rocker panels would look like painted black. Flat body panels are easy to clean off, but down by the bolts it was a different story. Still better with WD-40 and I'll think twice about where I try to use plasti-dip.

Touching up the paint will make it invisible from 10 feet away.
