Oh yea, regarding the shock mount below the axle. If the drawing is of a SUA setup, does the shock mount hang any lower than the spring pack? If the pack is already 3" or whatever below the axle then the shock mount could be about the same and it wouldn't really matter.

Good point, the Deaver SUA spring packs are 2.88" thick, plus about 3/4" perch, plus ubolt plates would probably put the springs as the lowest point under the axle in that scenario

Stock shock extension at ride height is about 19", so with 1.5" lift you'd have about 3.5" droop with 24". With AAL and flip, even less droop, not ideal.

Right you'd need a longer shock. Since you are getting lift with the AAL, the flip won't give you more droop til you get a longer shock. The relocation will only work with rod end or eyelet shocks, not the stock stem style.

So 5" stainless shackles are now available as an option when purchasing the shackle flip kit for $20 more, or separate from kit as well.
That's 3 shackle options to choose from: 4" SS, 5" SS, and 6" plain H shackles

The longer shackles will help expand the range of motion with this kit.

Hey Eric, I noticed on your website on the page with your SUA kit that you said you're working on being a dealer for Deaver springs. How's that going? I've been meaning to call Deaver for a price on the U540/539 set but I keep forgetting.

U539/540 fit in stock hanger location so about 55" with weight on them. These are not listed on Deaver's site. They do list 61.5" SUA springs which requires new hanger locations

Damn. this is one of my favorite threads. like what you guys are doing archive. I'm only mall crawler status and i can't even believe i have sliders, full skids, and have a full hoop front plate bumper on order. don't think I'll even move up to a shackle flip but i do enjoy reading up on your work. keep up the good work.

    Not enough
I'm sure this has been asked, sorry.
I have stock leafs with Icon 3 leaf AAL with the overload removed. Bilstein 5160s
Should I hang on till I get an upgraded leak pack like Dakar or all pro to get this kit? Or am I able to see the benefits of this kit with my setup and later on get the upgraded leaf pack
Pros and cons of this kit with stock leaf pack
    I'm close to ordering
