It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
In case you don't know, CVT is having a moving sale through this weekend. 20% off everything. Thats all I needed to tip me over the edge. :D

Those things are really expensive some are 10k + they're pretty cool, I'd like to make one someday.

X2 to on Tepui. I'm planning on getting the kukenam XL rugidized, not to mention they are also here in Santa Cruz.

IMO the biggest advantage of a RTT is the ability to set it up and tear it down real quick. I'd spend my money on a Autohome Magnollina Extreme.

I can get a small camper for that price. I'm curious what one of these would run. His build it pretty nice.

I wouldn't mind building one but I have neither the know how of tools for it.

If you have any ability building a trailer it's a blast and I've help a lot of people build their own. It's totally rewarding!

To answer the cost question a good analogy is to actually use these Roof Top Tents as a comparison. You can buy a normal tent for $100 bucks at Walmart. You can sleep in it, pack it up and tear it down... it's a tent right... but it's not even close to a RTT which can cost 2K or better. Yes, my trailers are expensive and sure you can buy another trailer for less but your not getting anything even remotely close to the same thing. I have 3K in just wheels tires and suspension. They a full boxed frame, 9 weather sealed doors, led's on and on. The physical hard cost to actually build one of them catches a lot of people off guard. But they're totally worth it just like a quality RTT is. To those who get what they are and what they do the cost is justified.

I'm just really excited to put a RTT on top of one of these. I think it will be an amazing addition and perfect fit! Thanks for all the suggestions and input!

There's no doubt that what you build is beautiful. I can definitely see the quality you put into it. If I camped on a regular basis I would buy one rather than a small camper since my wife doesn't camp. Unfortunately I don't camp enough to justify it.

A RTT on top would make it even better. Post pics when you get it installed.
