Extang SolidFold 2.0.....Pros: nice and solid, goes on super easy in a few minutes max, simple wing nut screws from underneath and takes a second to get straight. Fairly water-tight, not waterproof though. Cons: latches in the rear with spring-loaded handles that are not that easy to pull down to latch and they are rather large if you are stuffing a lot of cargo underneath making it difficult to latch sometimes to lock. It would be nice if there was one, simple latch that locked the last fold down. But this system is rock solid and durable being designed this way. Solid top.

I bought a BakFlip G2 and was not very happy with it. Looked great, folded up nicely and latched well.... but lots of dust and water even after applying silicone to top gaps along with extra tailgate seals. My biggest peeve was that I had to open the last panel in order to close the tailgate. I forgot one time and that's all it took to wreck the top rubber. I look forward the OEM cover on new truck.

Didn't get around to it yesterday but here are some pictures. You can still use the Tie downs on the rail but you can't take them out unless you take off the Lo Pro rails.

One question I have for anyone with the Lo Pro QT, does the rail near the tailgate seem to rise up more than the head of the bed or is that just me and my install issue? I tried to get it to go down but no luck.

I would loosen all the bolts/nuts and start tightening the bracket closest to the tailgate while pushing down on the rail, then tighten each one while holding down on the rail. You may have to egg the hole out on the bracket that fits up against the rail to allow for more adjustment. TruXedo has great customer service as I have called them twice myself. Give them a call.

As far as the tie downs, you can remove them without taking the rail brackets off.

Yeah that's the plan for tomorrow. Today is another busy day. Hopefully they seat lower. It seems like there is a price of plastic that is preventing it from seating correctly but I'll double check. I'll also double check the tie downs, you can't twist them out like I usually do. Probably have to just twist the center and not the whole thing.

Yeah I know how to take them out, easy without the rail for the cover. I'll double check later on today and see but when I tried the plastic hit the metal rail for the cover. I didn't try very hard to look too in depth. It was getting dark out as I was finishing the installation

I ran into the same issue. Didn't have this problem with other Truxedo Lo Pro QT I installed on other trucks. Not sure how to correct. Let me know if you find a solution.

Oh.. O.K... I see what you are saying now. I put the tie downs back in the rail before I screwed the tonneau rails down on the brackets. Never tried taking them out after I installed the cover. The fact that you cannot remove them is not a concern for me. Sorry this is an issue with you guys.

Yeah, it's not an issue for me, you can still use them and move them between the mounting point. I was just making a comment that not sure you can take them out if someone needs to. But like I said I haven't really tried that yet so it may be possible. I'll report back tomorrow or over the weekend. So far I love the cover

Glad I'm not the only one. There's a piece of metal or plastic that kinda prevents it from touching. It seems like it would be fine without the liner in the bed. I'll check tomorrow and try to solve it and let you know

It appears to me that the problem is that the top of the bed rails flair inward slightly a couple inches from the tailgate. This prevents the Truxedo rails from dropping down flush with the bed rails, and therefore has to sit on top. I tried moving the Truxedo rails inside the bed rails but then the cover will no longer fit between the two rails because it is too narrow.
Besides the look of it I'm concerned about water leakage as well.

I'm thinking the Gator soft folding trifold. Had one like it on my last Tacoma and it was excellent. No leaks and no dust after 7+ yrs. Figure I can spend the $600 I save on other bits.

Though I stop and think that a hard trifold will be a better look for a TRD Pro.

    Help me decide!

Bakflip F1. Truck gets washed frequently and little to no water intrusion. Dust comes from all the other holes in the bed.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
I have an OEM tri-fold tonneau for sale in Birmingham AL. Priced to move, will travel to meet. PM if interested.

I have the access vanish cover, got it so I could roll it up and still use the full bed. It doesn't seal very well, I have to take it apart and figure out a way to seal it up better, but overall i really like it

Post it up in the Georgia regional group / classifieds as well since B'ham is relatively close.
True, although they *can* swap with a different truck that did come with it. That's what my dealer did to get me into my truck a bunch earlier.

Truck sat outside during hurricane Matthew this past week in St. Augustine. Kept all my shit dry during the whole ordeal.
