I want that Kimber revolver they just came out with. That thing is dead sexy. But, I don't want to be a beta tester, so we'll give them a couple of years.

Well, after placing an order for a Sig P238 Extreme through their LEO discount program back in April and still nothing as of this week, I canceled that order and successfully bid on a P238 Scorpion, which is what I wanted in the first place. Will hopefully take delivery next week.

What is the scorpion model? I have the two tone P238 and it's a beautiful little gun. It's actually enjoyable to shoot.

We took the Victory out a couple days ago. It's is a nice feeling, good performing gun. Went through 100 rounds quickly, offered her more, but she said she was tired (it is heavier than most we've shot before). I ran 2 10-round magazines through it, one at 20 ft., one at full length if the range. Was able to fill a 1.5 inch "ribbon" design on the target at 20 ft, and kept a 3 inch diameter at full length. I'm not the best, but do ok.

It worked flawlessly, and she was comfortable and accurate with it right outta the box. She has no real background in shooting anything, and maybe has done 200-250 rounds in various things I've had her try out. It has a good solid feel, and a deep "pop" report. The sights were very good visually, and accurate. Trigger pull was smooth and comfortable.

Our local dealer can't seem to keep them around, and they do come in a threaded barrel version also. I'm almost excited to go out with it again sometime soon.

Daniel Defense fixed front and rear sights for a new rifle before the election and the CA bullsh!t laws take effect:

Picked up a Lyman Great Plains percussion rifle in 54 cal, and all the accessories. It's about the closest you can get to a Hawken clone in an off-the-shelf factory rifle. 1 in 60" twist makes it a dedicated patched roundball shooter. Hopefully I can take a deer with it in a month or two.

Yeah, that's pretty bad too. Throw in the Ruger LCR as well.
