Will a Canopy (or "Cap") that fits a Double Cab 6'2" box also fit the 6'2" box on the Access Cab (and vice versa, obviously?). I'm not so worried about the box - the boxes themselves are the exact same size (length/width), but it's the curvature of the cab that concerns me - are they the same or will it not work? Only reason I ask is I'm gonna go hunting for a used canopy for my truck and I want to know if I find one for an Access Cab, if it will work for my truck (which is a Double Cab).

    Thanks.

I just purchased a SnugTop canopy for my 2010. Came off an Access Cab and fits my 2010 double cab long bed just like it's made for it. I am fairly sure the cab design is the same. I actually purchased it from a guy who bought it for his regular cab. Unfortunately for him the regular cab back is almost vertical causing his brake light to contact the back of the canopy. As my truck has a rounded back it fits like its supposed to. Ken:cool:

Anyone else know if this will work? I have an access cab ('05) and found a very good deal on a leer cap from a dclb and want to make sure the back of the cabs on both the access cab and double cab are he same.

How did the access cab canopy on the double cab truck go? I am looking at putting a canopy on a double cab and I am wondering if there is difference between the cabs.

    Thanks

I bought a leer cap off a double cab and it fits my access cab like a glove. Same cab profile. Regular cab is different.

As previously stated, the back of the cab on the Access and doudle cab are the same. They have a little curve to them. The back of a regular cab is straight up and down. You can put a RC cap on an AC/DC, but it'll look a little funny. You can not properly put a cap from a AC/DC onto an RC.
