    dang... i wish. i don't know what i want to get next. I'm stuck between staying at my tiny 265 75 16, or going 285, or going tall and skinny at 255 85 16....... i feel like 255 would be my best bet with moving to colorado and it being rocky, but i don't want to have my tires tucked inside my truck. looks goofy.

    help me understand...
    I'm looking at the tire size comparison / calculator thing on TW and I'm comparing 265 75 16 with 255 85 16... it shows 3.73 is in the yellow (which says better fuel economy). and 4.11-4.56 is green (factory ratios)... so if i went with 255 85 16, i would gain fuel efficiency, and lose power? is it detrimental to the truck if i don't re gear after 255s? read that there might be sporadic shifting.

    it all bs the 4.10 gears come stock in the 4cyl moters - 3.73 in the v6 4.0 . but with the 255s you should be fine you wont notice any thing

    exactly... i read in one place that someone has crazy shifting with 255s and stock gears. then i read another place that it is fine and they love them. :frusty:
    when i get out to colorado i might just pull the trigger and try them myself. if it doesn't work out ill sell. lol
