I'm torn between going tall and skinny or not... ill be moving out to colorado at the end of this month. lol
but are you re geared or still stock? and what offset / bs are your wheels? i want tall and skinny but i don't want them tucked under my truck. not a fan of that look.

@Patch92 I have stock gearing. I am getting about 17mpg with mixed city/highway. And driving like a grandma. But i also have mud tires, and not E rated all terrains.

My wheels are 16x8, 0 offset, 4.5 BS. You can get a wheel with less BS/offset and push the tire out..

yeah i understand you can push it out, but I've been reading if you push it out, then you'll have to trim the fenders...
i have the same specs as your wheels. and yours don't look to be too crammed under the truck.

My fenders are minimally trimmed. But I think it was because i put the tires after an alignment, and didn't get realigned. It was rubbing just a little bit. I also thought I needed a cab mount chop, but now I don't think so.

where did you trim? I'm fine with trimming inside on the front or back of wheel well. but I've read if you push 255s out, you need to trim the actual fender flare. did you trim the fender flare or just inside the well? do you have a pic of what you trimmed? sorry for all the questions bro. I'm just on the fence with 255 or not. lol

    Just getting started
Yeah I agree. Bring it back and get at least 2.5 caster and 0.0 toe and camber. I've had to be persistent when I had alignments done.

One or two things modded... Check out the build thread
I don't get how people don't at least set the toe to 0.0 before taking it off the rack. Really no excuse for it, its only one adjustment

Great looking truck. Question for you. How do you like those Maxxis tires for daily driving? Any input would be appreciated.

Mud tires are not so fun for daily driving. They dont balance easily, and it feels/sounds like I am getting a chair massage every time I go anywhere.

And even off road, ive aired down to 15psi, and still torn sidewalls. Id recommend getting Cooper ST Maxx. They will definitely be my next tire
