How difficult is the rack to remove? Like if I wanted to put a motorcycle in the bed, can I easily take the rack off to set aside for the day?

@KB Voodoo sorry to keep bringing it up, but i wanted to clarify before i order. I have a rugged hard top tri-fold. Would i be able to open the first part? I don't really care about folding it anymore than that. I love the rack, just also want to be able to keep my cover as well. sorry if this is repetitive.

@KB Voodoo will your rack work with something like a pace edwards switchblade? I dont really like roll ups so I was thinking of getting a switchblade or jackrabbit

I also want something similar. Want the benefits of a hard trifold tonneau and a cab height rack. Thanks for your help.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas.
@KBVoodoo will the rack with clips designed to work with the OEM tonneau support the weight of a RTT and 300lbs of people?

Will they work with the mid-height rack or just the tall?

Just a suggestion for the fabricators. Make a bed cap replacement out of aluminum that is outboarded at the sides/ends of the box (where the stake pockets should be) that will accept a universally available rack like a cheap aluminum Trac-rac for an F-150. Something that can then be trimmed for height and width as required yet the feet still placed wide enough that a Bak Flip can fold up against the cab inside the uprights. It's too bad Toyota didn't provide stake pockets since that would make this a drop in piece.

I would consider a rack like that. It would add a lot of versatility while still letting me fully utilize my tonneau covered bed.

Great, I am ready to order but would just like to see the final design first. Any idea on a timeframe for mid rack+clips? My RTT is on the way so I don't want to wait too long and miss out on this nice fall weather!
