    My vote is for the switch panel. But I think it should have lid (clear to see if a switch is on/off) to prevent some one or thing from accidentally hitting it.

    I plan on designing a lid for it, but it won't be anything I can print. Once I start building molds I will consider it. The alternative is to sink the buttons lower so that the top is flush.

    Just looking at the location in general is a bad place for hits in general being on a horizontal plane like that even if pushed further down. Even a cover with little holes 1mm or so in size to see if the light is on would work. I think it's a great location for a switch panel it just needs an idiot cover of some sort.

    Also panel for the bigger switch and a spacer for the smaller Toyota OEM switches is an idea too. cut down on production costs maybe.

    I'm on my I-Potato so forgive my links

    The 2 switches I've seen used are the aftermarket black 5 pin rocker switches (generic'ish) I seem to see in a lot of application for vehicles and the Toyota OEM ones. The 1st group have a larger dimension than the OEM push button switches that are used. Not sure of the exact dimensions though.

    generic'ish type

    I seen those before, but I do not have one to pull measurements from. I'll put it on the list though.

    of course there is always this option too

    I'd love to buy a coin organizer if it has the lid to close. Don't want to get the windows broken in just because they saw a few coins. It happened to one of my car before. They smashed the windows and only took the coins.

    I'd be down for just the empty bin. Tall enough to keep stuff outta the cup holder and open enough to fit whatever... Is there like a timeline for purchasing these?

    I like the coin + card slot version, but with a slight twist:

    That's currently my go-to spot to put my iphone. If you widened up that card-holder slot to the width/depth of an iPhone 6 that would be the ticket. I also like the idea of the lid over the coins...partial lid to just cover coinage, leaving slot open?

    A+++++ would buy :taco:

    This, and it wouldn't be at all hard to route power up from under and do away with cord clutter...

    Although, I'd love an open bottom, closed top insert for light switches. I'd run that with 4 of these:

    @tacitos Love the designs! Once you get a finalized version of the empty bin with lid I will definitely order one. I've wanted something like this since i bought my truck.

    Thank you, It still needs some tweaking, but now that the stealth coin holder is done I can work on the others.

    Coin organizer with a lid would be my choice, maybe some place to stick a couple of magnets to help keep the lid secure.

    The hinge has a metal rod that I need to cut and grind. The tolerances are tight enough that the lid does not flip open on its own. No magnets needed.
