Started the truck this morning, put it in drive, and the truck would not move. Back left tire dug a hole in the gravel but truck would not move. It acted like I was doing a brake stand. Put the car in reverse and it moved fine. Put it in drive and it drove away just fine. Anyone have this happen to Them? I washed the truck last night and it sat. Maybe the brakes were rusted tight?

Same exact thing happened to me Monday. I detailed it Sunday, parked in my garage, Monday morning wouldn't move until I put her in reverse a bit (I pull into the garage backwards). I thought the transmission was acting up but then decided it had something to do with the brakes from the wash. I'm guessing rust.

Will happen from time to time due to rust on drum surface.

My parking brake was not on when I was trying to move. And the rear wheels did spin a bit. I'm guessing the front disc rusted some from the wash. The rears would be unlikely since they are drums. I also used Meguiar's All-Wheel Cleaner, don't know if that had an effect.

This is the only time this has happened and it was after an extensive wash/detailing. Only the second wash the truck has seen.
