I would be in if we get to 20% also but before I can commit, does any one know if its possible mount the intercooler reservoir tank (looks like it goes on the fender near the master brake cylinder) anywhere else in the truck? That space has been taken up on my truck with some aux wiring project I did.

Are you in for the 4.0 supercharger? Or waiting to see if they are extending it to the 5vz?

I'm in for 4.0. I have had my 5vz charged and tuned for a couple years. I never made it scream like I've heard you though.

Looking at the OP there are only 4 spots left if you include the "maybe" list and "20%"....I think you should just put the deadline to tonight at 11:59:59pm PST and not cap it at 20, what happens if you get a mass amount of people in the next couple of hours? Maybe list gets priority of the newcomers? 20% people automatically get in? Just some thoughts, as i have a buyer for my kidney.....money hasn't transferred yet so I'm still undecided....

OK...not to be a dick...but why in the world would you cap this? If I am Sparks Toyota...provided I could make money at the 20% discount....why shouldnt they sell 100 of these things or a 1000 of these things. You will get to the 20 without a cap. You need to give people time to find out about this group buy and get their finances in order.

I agree with this. The GB has ONLY been open for less than 24 hours.

Try and get this on the main page and get the word out.

Because as others had said we want to get people so we aren't sitting around for a couple months trying to get 20 people. I'm not trying to be a dick but shit or get off the pot.

Why couldn't @TIM.TRDSparks start taking orders from people that are 100% all in....I understand where you are coming from, but why would you screw the opportunity for your vendor to make more money, just so you can get your S/C sooner?

I messaged Tim and that was what we both came up with.
    I've run everything by him.

I'm open to letting more people in if we get an overwhelming interest but for now we are at 20.

I dont think you will be sitting around for a couple months. Just give it a week or two to get the information out. Heck I was only able to post this morning in the FJCruiserForums about it being available to them. I see the need for a reasonable deadline. I dont see the compelling need for a cap on the amount sold and I'm not sure why Sparks Toyota would want any type of cap as I think they could easily sell more than 20.

I dont have a dog in this hunt other than trying to get a deal for other FJ forum members if they have an '07-09 FJ and the possibility of including the 3.4L supercharger (in which case I would maybe go halfsies with my daughter to get one for her). My point is that I think I am providing a fairly objective perspective to this group buy. I feel like this thing will easily exceed the 20 or so people and you are going to create some disappointment that they didnt find out in time, didnt get time to get the money together, did have time talk to the wife, etc) and that we are leaving money on the table for Sparks by capping it. Just one guy's opinion.

Tim is working on a separate deal for the 3.4
    Fair enough no cap.
But next Friday is the deadline for this buy.
