Hunt club. Oof. Bummer you guys don't have the public land of the west out there.

Could always get out of the rig and hunt on your feet ;)

The Santa cruzgunlocks looks promising. Would be a good addition to make this a secure firearm rack.
My prototype is getting laser cut right now. Doing 1/4" mild steel.. we'll see how it works.
Re-designed it a little to compensate for the bending locations. This will HUG the headliner and be super low profile.

Awesome look. Excited to see them installed.

You seem a lot more mechanically inclined than I am. I am wondering if I could sacrifice the single rear seat behind the driver by folding both parts of the seat down and bolting or hanging your rig on the inside under the rear window. Then I could seat at least 4 and secure all the guns for those people as well.

    Thoughts?

The quality is not all too good because it's night and I was using flashlights. The picture is what I was referencing. I am not sure what is behind that plastic because I have not removed mine. Another potential issue would be the height.

What I was thinking is making two bolts on the truck that would be permanently attached. Then taking a version of your gun rack that could slide and lock in place. The guns could be vertically strapped to the rack.

Have you seen the molle panel by @nat? He came up with an awesome idea for a Molle panel in place of those cubbies. I am on my mobile otherwise I'd throw you a link. But do a search for Molle panel on the site and you'll probably find it. I love my panel!!

I have seen some ideas thrown around around what you're talking about, but I have the premium tech package, so the double seat has a small sub and amp that get in the way of some of those panels I saw floating around.

No rush, but if you find what you were talking about specifically id love to see it l. I searched what you said and a lot of posts came up. (I'm on mobile as well)

Thank you for that. I really appreciate you finding it for me. The problem I think I will run into is the passenger side through the middle of the back seat in my truck is taken up by the premium JBL package toyota sells. (Amp and sub) I shot him a message asking if they work or if there is a workaround. Hopefully there is.

I'm excited to see the final product.

I'm slightly confused reading through all the madness that I was also a part of. This will work with a sunroof, yeah?

In my Cherokee I have a two gun roof mounted gun rack-

You cannot see the firearms unless you are knelt down looking up into the car. Very nice.

In the Taco I use a MudBuddy shotgun holder. They're designed for attaching to the gunwales on an aluminum boat, but work great on our rail system.

When you put bend lines and whatnot into your program, are you able to calculate bend deductions to account for radius of the bend from any given punch/die setup? This is a rather straight forward part but more complicated ones tend to get messed up when you want a flat pattern made
