Hi All. First post here. Used this site for lots of research before getting my new-to-me '14 Tacoma. Nice truck, albeit a bit appliance-y and basic (transitioned from a SAAB 9-5 Aero - so experiencing some turbo withdrawl...).

Sorry to beat a dead horse on the wind noise issues. This isn't a complaint (or a fix), but just thought I'd share my experience.

One of the first things I noticed with this truck is the "kazoo" like noise when driving at freeway speeds in a crosswind. I poured through all of the posts here on the subject and verified that my sound, at least, was coming from the door seal along the top edge. Anyway, I had the truck in for a 4WD failure today and thought I'd mention the noise to see if I'd get a bite from the dealer. Naturally, they'd "never heard of it" and blew me off. Will be an easy fix for me anyway, but thought I'd give it a try. I've posted a pic of the service guy's description and the lacking response :) Hopefully the image attachment works...I've not read the tutorial.

Anyway, much like the SAAB owner bulletin boards and sites, Tacoma's appear to have an active and knowledgeable following and I'm looking forward to the community.

Is that what your referring too? Mine does the same thing if it is really windy driving at highway speeds. You could reference the dealer to that video. I've heard people get the door seals replaced and some say it fixes it but I dunno.

just fix it yourself.... 1/4in black dripper pipe line, 3 pieces ran in the cracks of the door seals. Big ole thread somewhere on here use an advanced search within that thread for my username to find how i fixed it.

1/4" drip line fixed me, except I only needed one piece running the entire length. Totally hidden, can't even see it.
