Just got to Bend a couple hours ago. Spent a few nights at Lake Tahoe on the way. Gonna play around here for a few days then head over to the coast!

Anyone know of any good fishing spots near Bend? Keep in mind I didn't bring a fly rod. I have two spinning setups with heavy mono. I was thinking more coast when I was packing.

There's tons of killer fishing spots in Bend. For me to tell you where would be a pain in the ass:D..I wouldn't want to get you lost.

If you are a beer guy:cheers: YOU HAVE TO VISIT BONEYARD BREWING:headbang: My fave beer on the planet is Hop Venom.

Try to make your way down to the Old Mill District. Good food, beer and shopping down there.

That's an awesome trailer. That is exactly what the fiance and I are looking to get in the not so distant future. Just wish I had a place for a trailer now. What's the dry & wet weight on it? 17ft...?

Thanks! It's a jayco 195RB. It's about 3100 dry and about 21ft. The taco does a great job with it. It's small but big enough to still have a walk around queen, dinette, kitchenette and dry toilet shower without having to convert anything. When we get home later this month I'm gonna do a full write up of my impressions of the tacos towing ability.

Yeah we're camped in florence right now. Supposed to be 75mph winds tomorrow. I hope the trailer doesn't flip!! Oh well I'm not stressed. On the beach with some rouge IPA trying surf fishing for the first time. That bend in the rod is not a fish... its wind!!!

Yeah I just heard that! I'm wondering if there will be a get out warning? If it gets gnarly were leaving in the truck and insurance can pay for the trailer.

The storm wasn't so bad. We woke up early and watched the sea lions battle the swells and found some cool carnivorous plants. Then I tried crabbing but the Siuslaw was moving way to quick. Finished off the day with a beautiful sunset on the beach! This place is so beautiful I wish I could move here right now!
