The big news, ghosts will be more frequently rewarded also possible drops in AF.

So basically they answered the cries and now we have many ways to advance to 400.

 

Victoria: On October 18th, corresponding with the release of Heroic Mode for Wrath of the Machine, your Maximum Light will be increased to 400. With this increase, many reward sources will also increase their maximum Light. Strike Hoards, Nightfall, Exotic Engrams, Trials of Osiris, Crucible, and Iron Banner will now provide rewards up to 400 Light. Archon’s Forge, the Heroic SIVA Strike playlist, and Legendary Engrams will now provide rewards up to 385 Light. Rare Engrams and the SIVA Strike Playlist will now provide rewards up to 365 Light. The recommended Light for these activities will remain the same with the exception of Nightfall, which will be increased to a recommended light of 380. For those striving to reach Heroic Wrath of the Machine or even attempt their first run at Normal Wrath of the Machine, players should find more paths and options available to them to reach the recommended Light.
For players forging their path through Wrath of the Machine, Trials of Osiris, and Iron Banner, these activities will now attempt to reward higher Light on average, compared to your current Light.

Artifacts and Ghosts were dropping from fewer sources than intended and have been added as Archon’s Forge completion rewards. These items will now drop up to 400 Light. In Faction Packages, the rate at which Ghosts are rewarded has been increased. Likewise, the rate of artifacts from Eris’ Faction Packages have been increased.

 

Doing the heroic strikes is a good way since the rares drop decrypted up to 365. You will get 2 per boss.

Im saying keep purple and yellow. Blues decrypt up to 340 until Tuesday. But yea, you can keep those for then.

 

Yup... If you want keys 320 strikes are the way to go. They drop almost 2 to 1 over the SIVA Crisis Heroic strikes.

You better pick up The Trespasser while you can. It's not a guaranteed drop with ToC's and is most definitely worth the strange coins. It burns shit down in Crucible. I "personally" wouldn't pass up a guaranteed chance to get one.

Glasshouse is nice but won't help much in the raid with the bubble lasting longer. Nothing in the raid happens slow enough for the extra time to matter. I certainly wouldn't waste an exotic slot for it. The Armamentarium is by far more useful.

Finished the raid tonight (which makes 6 times for me this week) and got the Outbreak Prime quest for a few of our mates that haven't gotten it yet. Got Akis down in 3 rounds. Can't wait for HM to come out.

I've been storing all my exotic and legendary engrams to start decrypting on Tues. All my characters are 385 with my WL at 387. Going into trials tomorrow and it's on Twilight Gap so we should rock it since it isn't a new map. Hoping to go to The Lighthouse in the morning.

 

Weird... never had that happen.

Did have this happen to me the day the raid was released.



And the same thing happened to one of our clan mates during the same run. Only had half a gun and was unable to ads.

 

We haven't had any trouble since the first week. Everything has run smooth for us. Sound like someone in your group might have a slow connection?

 

Even though... during the raid someone's connection may slow down. I've noticed this especially in Trials when we inspect the other team flying in to see what their loadout is and how we plan on approaching that rounds fight. They may all be green bar but if one of us dies we notice that maybe one on the other team is suddenly yellow or red. Not necessarily purposeful lag it just happens from time to time. Hell... I've got fiber optic run to my house and my connection is stable as shit and I got kicked this afternoon flying into the tower and my other teammates didn't.

As far as the raid goes, it's been pretty stable for us with little to no issue after the bugs were worked out after launch. So I'd look at it being a connection based problem and not a raid issue. That said... things happen. I did the raid 6 times this week alone and never had a issue.

 

I've got to say that the inclusion of private matches in crucible is by far one of my favorite inclusions in this expansion. We've had so much fun with creating different game modes and practicing for Trials. We ran Twilight Gap for almost 3 hrs tonight to practice with our team and every scenario we can come up with.

We posted a match a few days ago where the only weapon you could use was No Land Beyond and it was fucking hilarious. No heavy, no melees, no special weapons etc... Just No Land Beyond. It was funny as shit watching others when they got close to each other dancing around trying to get a shot off lol.

 

We've also started a Twitch Channel for when we start consistently going to The Lighthouse. We're already streaming our Raid Videos and how to complete the Outbreak Prime puzzle.

 

This was posted live when I did the Felwinters Peak climb without agility perks active. That was a little added pressure lol. No re-do's while going live.

 

Seems weird that it's only happening to your team and not ours (other than the first few days)? Not arguing the fact just saying we haven't experienced those issues at all with the raid since then.

 

That very well may be the case. All of us that consist of our normal Raid / Trials group are Central time zone.

 

God PvP sucks in this game, mainly from peer to peer matchmaking and I hate it.
