So after reading, reading and more reading and gaining a lot of help from other forum members I finally began my system upgrade on my '17 DC. I couldn't find a lot of info on the '17 'cause it has the window motor on the back wall, but other than that it was pretty much similar to the '16. Right now I have my box installed and factory speakers connected to the amp. My sub shows up tomorrow so I will do that this weekend and I plan to build a facade to cover the box and wiring as well as building a plate to go into the cubby for the LC7i

Clean, what sub did you go with? What amps do you have fitted on there? Great job with the spacing, seems almost like that effected your decision in how power of Amps you got lol

Ok made some more progress today. Added the sub and some lighting.

Still need to tune it and the sub sounds real hollow so I am going to add some polyfill in hopes that helps.

What speakers are you going with? Does the '17 have the same locations as the earlier models?

As far as I can tell the '17 is the same as the '16. I don't know what door speakers I am going to do. Trying to decide if I do 6x9's or 6.5" components up front.
